Cambrie grew up in Lipton, SK. She has recently graduated from the University of Alberta with her Bachelor of Kinesiology, majoring in Sport Performance.

Cambrie has played a variety of sports, including basketball, dance, volleyball, and track and field. In her spare time she can be found instructing swimming lessons and assisting with sports teams as their athletic trainer.
